A beekeeper in Sardinia told me he thinks this [pesticide killed bees. I think they have banned it in other European countries. We must have bees. Bees before profit!

A young beautiful gardener came and told me that I had to get rid of my Japanese bind weed or else it would take over the garden..

I have already written to DEFRA on this issue and received a totally unsatisfactory response, with the effects which I believe are from pesticides being blamed on Verroa and the Crumpled Wing virus. I have asked them for their evidence and await a reply. In the meantime, petition such as this will help.

Thanks Dieter signed right away! So much for the "mystery" of the disappearing bee as the news called it. I cannot believe anyone could think using nicotine derivative un any form for ANYTHING would be a good idea, let alone spraying it into the environment.

The decimation of the bee population is becoming quite serious. Let us hope that a petition such as this one may prompt those who have the powwer to do something positive to halt the decline. Let us hope that our protests will haVE THE DESIRED EFFECT.

There is more to honey than just sugars. It has been found that if you eat honey everyday which is collected within 20 miles radius of where you live, you have a higher resistance to hay fever. If honey is applied to burns you will have less scaring. I have used honey on a patient's leg sores and healed within 2 months where conventional medicine had failed for 20 years. The bible talks about honey therefore, it must be important so let us help the bees by protecting them. They are doing a great job. Regards. Ray Verlaque

More is emerging evidence all the time, drawing closer studies that cannot be explained away by "Varroa Mites" or "the weather" (these are just EXTRA pressure) http://www.huffingtonpost.com/heather-pilatic/bees-pesticides-studies_b_1389499.html.
