before I got carried away I was in the military. the service has gotten better but the va is still bad six years ago I was in a facility and they marked my chart DNR thank god I did not die. I had a living will that said please resuitate, but they had made a mistake in my procedure and I bled out. God was on my side.
thanks Nina that is very true men do cry out for their mothers when they are dying even if their mothers have already passed on as a child I heard my great grand father call for his mother who had been dead for many years. it is true that mothers play a very significant role in a young boys life much different than the daughter although the daughter cling the son clings stronger.
LET'S SUPPORT OUR TROOPS ON ELECTION DAY AND THAT THEY COUNT.
Believe it's time to reinstate the draft with no jobs or money for higher education. These young people have paid more than their dues of reenlistment and 3 or 4 tours of duty. They are our best - let's not use them UP! Everyone can help in so many ways. Obama isn't bringing them home from AFG. now till 2014. Wasn't that his gripe about Bush?
Good on you women, go on In Israel many women do a two year service and man three.
It's very healthy to have a mix!
PATRIOTIC WOMEN..GOD BLESS YOU.
Have you ever heard a dying soldier crying out for his "father"? Maybe for his father in heaven. But dying soldiers cry out for their mothers. And there is a reason for that. Mothers and fathers are not interchangeable, although modern society wants to make us believe that.
THANKS TO WOMEN & MEN THAT SERVED IN THE MILITARY.
