I support the right of those traders to protest peacefully, but I also very much support Ambiga and BERSIH. I only support the right of those traders to protest peacefully because freedom of speech means freedom of speech for those I disagree with as well.
They can protest in front of Bersih's office but not in front of Ambiga's hse.
You'll note that I signed the above support ^‿^
I'm not sure about what I think about protests in front of someone's house yet. But I definitely support the right to protest by people I disagree with.
i hv too
protest in front of someone's hse can tantamount to intimidation. protest shld be in public area i.e. Bersih in Dataran Merdeka. Concern this might escalate to other"personal" protest that can hv a momentum of its own.
Ms.Ambiga... U're not alone... many are backing u... long live Ms. Ambiga..
You are NOT alone!
You deserve my admiration for your steadfast and strong leadership. God bless and protect you.
Please support Datuk Ambiga ~.
We are here for you!
Dun worry, we are all educated and very much civilised.
Datuk Ambiga, you are not alone, Malaysians will by your side & back you up!
Thank you, Datuk Ambiga for keeping your head when others (esp those in those ridiculously embarrassing videos) seem to be losing theirs! This country needs more leaders like you!
Datuk Ambiga, the people are behind you.
Please stop the intimidation on Datuk Ambiga!
Ambiga is one of the hundreds of thousands of regular Malaysians, fighting for their own rights: Freedom of speech and freedom of assembly, and a clean and fair election. Is that wrong? Don't Malaysians deserve our basic human rights?
