I am struggling with the VA right now with my PTSD Service Dog...they are waiting on a 'ruling' that does not reflect the current Title 38 Section 1714, Public Law 2009. Hopefully they will get their act together soon!
God bless and let's hope they do!! It is LONG OVERDUE!!! Thank you so much for your service and sacrifice. I am the mother of a son who committed suicide because of PTSD. He served in Iraq in 2003/2004. I pray you will do everything you can to take care of yourself!
Wendy Griffioen GOD BLESS YOU
I saw you on WWP Im in Dallas..
What is the ruling for ?
Ramon J. Montoya I replied with an answer...but it looks like they deleted it. Guess we are to just sign the petition and not inform people about whats really going on. I'll post on my WWP Discussion: PTSD Service Dog what I originally had here.
A service dog is such a good thing!
4008 lets keep it rollin.
I also take meds for my PTSD some of us need it
I'm not a vet but do suffer from PTSD my 4 cats n 1 dog keep me going. I couldn't imagine being without them. Unconditional love. Ps I do have a son int tha military
This is such a win-win situation that it's basically a no-brainer! The vets would get a dog to help them and the dog would be saved from death....why does the Government always make things that are right and good so difficult.
Veterans gave their LIVES to keep all of us FREE! Despite your political beliefs, these heroes, scarred outside and deep within, DESERVE THE ABSOLUTE BEST WE CAN GIVE! Sign ALL petitions for VETERANS!
Rescued animals helping our service men and women, how can it not be obvious that it is a WIN WIN SITUATION!
These brave men and women gave their life's blood to keep America Strong and Free...Freedom we sometimes take for granted as we go about our daily lives. If a gift as simple as a dog can bring an ounce of comfort to our Heros...They need that ounce of Comfort. Please see that they get that dog.
My darling dogs have been there for me always. I wouldn't be without.Chauvonne picture at left is by me always. Wendy
