What a beautiful way of helping out our vets and the dogs who they served with. I don't know how I managed before Mattie adopted me, nor what I would do without him. Please join me in signing this petition and passing it along to your FB buddies as a way of letting our vets know that we care about them all.

My dog is the best therapy in the world for me...Never thought there would be a light at the end of the tunnell without a train following it. Its been over 40 years to find out how much help a dog can be.....

My son who served in the USMC from 5/2000 to 10/2010 suffers from PTSD. He deployed 3 times over seas and was injured on his last tour. After back surgery and struggling to keep his family feed as well as himself he is bitter. I can not blame him at all, the Corps is giving my son the run around. I gave him a little dog that he was fond of a couple of years ago. Hurry Kanji is a pretty good dog for him.

I think this is an awesome idea and cause. I used to bring parrots into alzheimer units in nursing homes and some of the elderly patients that hadn't spoken or interacted with others for long periods of time responded to the animals by petting and even talking to them. The power of the unconditional love that animals give to humans is absolutely amazing.
