At this time, my knee joints rub so (bone on bone) causing severe pain that it is hard for me to walk BUT I am going to begin a Wellness Program in May to help me Exercise better than sitting on my rear end all day... GOD is aware of my commitment... <3 :-)

I go to the RMH WELLNESS get onto their machines that lift you to exercise and also they have a wonderful Pool there... it is in Harrisonburg Va ...it is thru the Hospital most major cities have a program like that. Just call your local hospital Pat. Good Luck. <3 :-)

I walk 40 mins each day to and back from work.
Hmm. I really need this I hardly walk at all because where I live one minute it is sunny, the next it is raining hail stones. I do climb my stairs up and down though.

Walking, our patriotic duty.
Started walking when I reached age 40, that was 12 years ago, still don't make it everyday, but most days!
I walk 4 mi per day, 4 days per week, my cholesterol is very low ans my blood pressure runs 126/52, my pulse rate is between 40-50, and I feel great.
I walked over 30 minutes 4/5 times per week. Since breaking toes and unable to walk for 3 weeks I have noticed how untoned and flabby I am getting. Can't wait to get back out there. A dog is the best incentive to get walking.
A necessity to remain sane.
