I have twins in college with one getting ready to graduate in June and either one has been able to find a job. Raising the interest now is not going to fix the economy, it is going to send it backwards. There are alot of us out there that are still trying to save our house and be a good parent and put our children through college. Please vote not to raise the the student loan rates it is hard enough as it is.

With a son in college this is definitely important to us.

An education is already too expensive. Let's help the students out by not asking them to pay an even higher interest rate!

What about help for older people who are overwhelmed with student loans. Is there anything that can be done?

If adults are getting college education and can't find a job... I may as well tell my daughter to go to MTI and get a quick fix education... how will they be able to support themselves, and pay for college with higher int. rates? It doesn't seem like our country is helping us anymore. A very sad thing.......

This is a great piece of legislation. Another is HR 4170. The Student Loan Forgiveness Act of 2012, which is in the House of Representatives, is designed to lend a helping hand to those struggling under massive amounts of student loan debt. I joined a campaign on YouLobby that is fighting in support of this legislation. https://youlobby.com/campaigns/110/

Unbelievable....I mean some of us are going back to school as change of career...does it really have to be this way...we will be leaving behind a student loan debt to our children...
