My brother is a Veteran from the Vietnam War. Imagine needing help for months and years and still waiting to get help from a VA Hospital. What is wrong with the system taking so long for him to get help? I have been praying for help for him for almost half a century. Someone help!

This cause is important to me not only because most of my family served but also Because these men and women are FIGHTING FOR OUR FREEDOM, the right to be who we want to be FOR OUR FREEDOM OF SPEECH AMONG MANY OTHER THINGS.....

I am a Veteran of the Vietnam era and have seen too many of my brothers in arms end up homeless, committing suicide, and killing others. The people who don't serve and who have never been involved in conflict have NO idea what it's like to return to life after their service. If you have never severed you can't say I know what it's like. When I left the serve after 4 yrs of voluntary service, I was thrown out on the street without any information about what was available for my after service...

If you have never severed you can't say I know what it's like. When I left the serve after 4 yrs of voluntary service, I was thrown out on the street without any information about what was available for my after service needs. They give you and tell you nothing, you are discarded like trash and trying to get help back then was impossible. You think the wait time is long now, it's nothing compared to when I got out. There was nothing and I mean nothing available from the VA as far as help was concerned. That's why there were so many homeless vets whose numbers grew and grew over the years, because there was NO HELP. These vets sacrificed there lives and bodies for YOU the citizens of this country, YOU the PEOPLE.

When is the last time YOU invited a homeless vet home to share Thanksgiving or Christmas, or Easter for dinner or to watch a football game on TV. Don't they deserve to enjoy life like the rest of our Citizens ?

It has been 42 years since my service and yet I still am trying to get service connected disability, do I deserve that treatment after volunteering my life to serve my COUNTRY, GOD, and DUTY. I'm not ashamed to say that I cry when I see the stories of our vets and the way they have been treated. MY GOD and GODESS Bless America.. Blessed be So mote it be...

THEY ANSWERED THE CALL.....FOUGHT THE FIGHT AND FINISHED THE RACE. THEY NOW ARE TAKING CENTER STAGE IN AFGHANASTAN AND ARE PLAYING A THOUSAND DRAMAS DAILY. SOME COME BACK....SOME NOT......THE LAST FULL MEASURE OF DEVOTION. AREA NO. 46 AT OUR NATIONAL CEMETERY AT ARLINGTON IS FILLING GRAVES OF HONOR DAILY...........WE OWE ALL OUR VETERANS THE BEST CARE THAT CAN BE GIVEN AND THE BENEFITS THAT HAVE LONG BEEN OVER DUE. IT IS THE RIGHT THING FOR IT TO BE DONE WITHOUT PRO LONGED RED TAPE AND BULL $HIT.

This cause is important to me because my daughter was in the Army for 9 years. Spent 15 months in Irag, as a medic. She returned a different person. Her hearing has been effected by the bombings , and she has high axiety, and PTSD. So far she has had little help from the government regarding these issues. Our veterans fight for freedom and justice. Their dedication to our country should not be overlooked.

I am a therapist who has worked on PTSD with returning veterans....They need us. No one can understand what they have been through and they need compassion and more than what the government is willing to give.

I was drafted in 1963 and served in Germany. I am grateful that I didn't have to serve in Vietnam but I support those and other vets whenever I can. God bless them all.

This cause is important to me because I was there, because unlike alot of people I know what freedom means to us and to women that have been opressed for thousands of years, they are not like us, their freedoms were limited from day one, day two was not in the question, they didden't get the choice they obey or they die................... Hey ladies of America, think you got it ruff? go to Afganastan, then tell me how hard you got it! at least you get to choose, and not the other way around.............
