we actually are able to adopt from our own country.. we have the right to choose but instead of wanting to take those children from their parents who have hit a turn of unfortunate events why not help the family to get things back together with the economy today so many people don't realize that the parents were probably recently unemployed from who knows possibly 20 years at their job that got the doors shut more people need to realize this instead of ripping kids away from parents who are...

I know because I'm living it... Thank the good Lord for having a loving family who is making sure my children don't have to sleep outside until I get on my feet but unfortunately we cant all be that lucky.. so on a final note its the ones who abuse there kids that should have them taken away not the ones who are unlucky to be homeless.

What's really sad is that we have all these homes empty due to foreclosures while children even with parents have no place to live. Even if both parents are working, they still cannot afford a place to live due to the economic crises. The pay grades are so low, yet daycare is still rising. I personally know several situations like this and if weren't for other family members or friends they would have no place to live at all.

I find it awfully ludicrious that we have to feed the third world countries when we cant take care of our own issues.

WE HAVE ENOUGH TO DEAL WITH IN OUR OWN COUNTY WITH POVERTYWHILE I DO SYMPTHIZE WITH THOSE IN NEED IN OTHER COUNTRIES I THINK WE NEED TO TAKE CARE OF OUR OWN FIRST.

In addition: I know that other countries have hunger and homeless, disease issues, BUT shouldn't we take care of OUR OWN FIRST? Just a thought, that has hopefully occurred to someone else other than myself. I find it ridiculous that we rush to send large amounts of funds to other countries to aid them, and that's all well and good. I just wish we'd focus on US first for a change.
