Why would it not? It is one of the toughest and most discipline sports ever. And the only reason it is not popular is because there are very few people who have the guts and heart to stick with it. That is why. And did I mention it is the oldest sport known to man and now to women.
This sport made my son who he is today!
These are children's dreams that are being crushed!
it is a vary good sport we need to keep it in the Olympics.
I believe is one of the toughest sports out there. As a wrestlers mom , I got to love the sport I'm sure many parents would agree.
Another tradition being thrown away!
Wrestling is the most intense sport there is. I love baseball and football, but for continued excitement there is not much than can match a good wrestling match. It is more of a pure sport, man against man, and it requires all the things that make athletics good: strength, skill--lots of work and practice, determination, and the ability to give it all....let's get it back into Division College as well!
the best dam one on one sport there is, I started wrestling in 5th grade, Jr.High, High School state champ, 8 yrs in the military wrestling. And you what to take this great sport of ours out of the olympics YOU ARE F---- ING CRAZY!
Because I wrestled as a kid and wanted to go to the Olympics. With out that what can kids set as a goal.
This cause is important because it teaches a great number wrestlers control and persaverance, and honor. These things are still deperately needed in society today especially of young men. This sport needs to stay in all of our schools from Elementry to the Olympics. It is the best sport that supports charactor and hard work. It's more loved the perticipants than most think. If college actually permotes higher learning it needs to exibit some higher learning and support wrestling as much as possible!
