NIIIIIICE!!!!! Best of luck sis!!!
I dressed up as Thing 1 and had SO much fun! We made a class book of "Ten Apples up on Top", had a visit from "Cat in the Hat" for story time, made a graph of our favorite Dr. Seuss book, and went home with our very own copy of "One Fish, Two Fish", stickers, and a pencil.
Kristi Sue No, my principal did...but that would have been hilarious! :-)
Parents and community members visit our classrooms and read to our students. My fourth graders are so excited because the first graders are going to come in and read to us!
The school I work out is having a book character day tomorrow. They are encouraging the kids to dress has a character in a book, they also must bring the book to school & share it.
I will do my best to be at my local public library for as much of the day as possible. I will be wearing my "Cat in the Hat" hat with much PRIDE, and I will be reading as many Seuss books as I can to whom ever is within earshot. :)
Today I am doing a Dr. Seuss dedication at North Valley Behavioral Health with all the clients. I hope they enjoy Dr. Seuss as much as I do.
So many different books to choose from.....which ones shall we read today?
I love reading Dr. Seuss books to my grandson. I will be reading Dr. Seuss books to his classroom today. We will also be making Dr. Seuss bookmarks:)
My boys are counting down, each one has picked their favorite book!
It is my first year teaching and we are celebrating like crazy! First grade is so much fun!
