I am a stage IIIc ovarian cancer survivor for 13 hrs. I have recently dramatically changed my eating habits. I feel better and have dropped 70 lbs. I know I have lessened my chances of getting cancer again.

Congratulations on 13 years and I'm glad you feel better... My mom was just diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer May 2011 and she went though Chemotherapy and lost over 100 pounds during the process. Currently she is cancer-free and I'm very thankful..

My mother started with cervical cancer and died from Lung cancer, due partially to second hand smoke, my father had bone cancer, my paternal grandmother had ovarian cancer! Would love for this disease to be eradicated in my lifetime.

Many of my families have died of different types of cancers like breast, intestinal, pancreatic, liver, rectal, stomach and ovarian. I would like to join hand in hand to try to prevent and help those horrible deaths.
