I am a stage IIIc ovarian cancer survivor for 13 hrs. I have recently dramatically changed my eating habits. I feel better and have dropped 70 lbs. I know I have lessened my chances of getting cancer again.
That is 13 years!

Congratulations on 13 years and I'm glad you feel better... My mom was just diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer May 2011 and she went though Chemotherapy and lost over 100 pounds during the process. Currently she is cancer-free and I'm very thankful..

I was a chronic smoker. That was thirteen years ago. I watched my Dad die of smoking reated causes. I made a pact with myself that I did not want to die the way he did.
Cancer has really struck my family hard with breast cancer, testicular cancer, pancreatic cancer, stomach and colon cancer. We really need to find a cure.
eating fresh vegstables helps.
I'm a cancer survivor, 14 years past breast CA DX and treatment.
Cancer is ugly in any form and it does not discriminate...it knows no bounderies. We need to all fight this monster.

Knowledge is power.
I lost my son to cancer at easter 2011 , it was so heartbreaking not just because he was my son but the terrible way , people with that horible illness suffer.
I have had many family members go through the struggle of fighting cancer and it takes it's toll on not just the person battling the disease, but the family members standing by trying to help with the fight. Some have won the battle and some have not. We need to find a cure and make this world better for everybody.
