A number of people like to point this out Joel Saeks, but this is an artificial argument. There is a major difference between crossbreeding with a given species and bombarding a plants DNA with foreign genes/organisms. Crossbreeding works with nature. It is no different than people interbreeding between the variations of human gene pools. Engineering implies a more laboratory mechanical event--and that is how the term is used and was designed for use. Changing the language as some kind...

We need to be clear on one point hybrid plants are technically genetically modified organisms even though they are created by cross pollination. these CAN occur in Nature however GE genetically engineered are not now and never will be Natural as they are created by combining genetic materials that could never combine in nature!

Hybrids are NOT genetically modified, they are selected. It you plant seeds of a hybrid, they revert to their non-hybrid state. A GMO doe NOT. It has been altered PERMANENTLY and that is what the "gene modified" stands for. Grafting trees on to root stock is NOT genetically altering the plant, it is selecting growth patterns.

Over seventy percent of pregnant women tested and sixty percent of their children have glyphosate in their system.Something Monsanto said couldn't happen and now they've been approved to double the amount they use because insects and weeds have have developed resistance to it.If this doesn't scare the crap out of you how does the fact that animals fed Roundup ready corn become infertile by the third generation. Where does that leave us I wonder.

Did you know our taxes contribute millions to Monsanto for the "benefit" of many of the developing countries farming. It is criminal, we are all paying for it. I do not want any innocent children and people to be harmed by poison.
