Like for Like -- Abuser receives same punishment as the one he abused... same outcome... wouldn't this law change things in the mind of an abuser, any abuser? We all know the rate of crime would drop like flies if this were the case.

So sad. I can't imagine anyone's pet (or wild) dying like that

Brutality to any living creature or human should never go unpunished. This was a premeditated crime of horrendous cruelty. What else is the person capable of, it could be you next or your child.

I strongly disagree with Ann-Marie and all those who are for "an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth", because that would definitely put us on the same moral level as the killer's. Not even prison: our taxes would pay for his upkeep! A VERY HEAVY FINE is the best punishment for such a monster. His wallet is without any doubt a more painful target than his heart or his intelligence.

I say turn about is fair play !!! We know who this animal is, go get him tie a cable around his neck and drag him down the route he dragged his dog. At the store parking lot load him into the truck drive him away so no one has to look at him, and leave him there to DIE in pain & agony !!!!! That's JUSTICE !!!!!!!

amen Ro....make sure to go that extra mile to make sure the low life will not make it once dumped in the woods in the back country...

This man needs to be tied with a cable around his neck tied to a truck and then dragged for 10 miles to his death. How could anyone do such a horrid, painful thing to a defenseless soul.. I hope he burns in hell.

Don't know if hell exists. If it does, it's right here on earth. Sadly...some good kind humans have to share the planet with them. If it were up to me, these monstrosities would have sever punishment. What the heck...I would even opt for capital punishment!

Lets drag the owner down a coral rd then on the beach for a mile or three.

I'll join you Rick! Whenever I read something like this, and the police won't charge or do anything, then believe vigilante justice is warranted. This dude must be a friend of the police, or these police are the most heartless bastards!

I say that we make it a National Law, that anyone who abuses any animal should be abused by the same way they abused the animal. They should also be denied any medical care by any medical care givers. They should be burned in gas chambers, as they had as much compassionate as the Nazi's had for people. Whether they killed the Gift from God or not. Charity Rollins, Reno NV
