living being with total disregard. Just like the bludgeoning of seals. This is the behavior of a "superior" being? REALLY? I do not think so. Humanity has a LONG way to go if we want to be the "superior" species on the Planet. We are not even in the ball park. I would like to ask you to please not condone and support animal cruelty. You are only supporting the victimizer while allowing the victim to continue suffering. How is that making this world a better place? Please honestly revisit...

Would you use a hammer to kill a person? Would you condone using a hammer to kill a person? If your answer to either of those questions was no (followed by "of course not"), then hammers should not be used to kill any animal (human or nonhuman). Why would you not use or condone using a hammer on a human? I bet your answer would be that it is inhumane...huh. BUT it is alright to use this same hammer on a nonhuman animal? I see hypocrisy here. An animal is an animal whether human or non. If...

The time has come for humanity to step up and behave as the "superior" species we like to claim we are.

If you do view the use of hammers to kill any animal is alright, I would like to ask you to rethink that view. Explore what you are really giving your consent to, nonhuman animal abuse. The act is extremely horrific, violent, bloody, barbaric, primitive and demonstrates an un-evolved being capable of deeply malicious behavior towards another

Here it is: I have just been informed that you condone animal cruelty. I am in hopes that your statement about, it being OK to use a hammer to bludgeon a dog to death, was taken out of context. Are you aware of the meeting held July 7, 2012 in Cambridge, UK where it was publicly proclaimed that: Scientists Finally Conclude Nonhuman Animals are Conscious Beings (this is very easy to look up. CBS 60 Minutes showed the signing ceremony of this declaration). These were renowned neuro-scientists...

These were renowned neuro-scientists that concluded that, "...the weight of evidence indicates humans are not unique in possessing neurological substrates that generate consciousness." Another words, Animals are not biological machines, but conscious beings.

If a human is killed with a hammer, is that considered humane? It makes no sense. NO sense. Unless his "honorable" Walsh is working to protect himself, as he would do the same to animal?

Sorry for my poor english, but this is what i wrote and sent to the email provided.
"I've read online about the regulation that it's alright to kill a dog with a hammer.
That it was deem humane.
I can tell you there is nothing humane about it.
It hurts a lot and takes a long time to die from it.
That is animal abuse/cruelty.
I am from Singapore. And if this so called humane method were to be used, then really shame on Australia.
Be a first world country with a civilized first world mentality.

Don't behave with a third world mentality.

I'll definitely be keeping a lookout for this regulation.
If it's set in stone, i'll be sure to share my knowledge about it with everyone."
