I have seen the major decline on our property. I even noticed less Bumble Bees on my Passion Flower Vines. Two Yrs. ago I would have been Bombarded by the Bumble Bees. I listened to an Hour Radio Show on the problem. I now use my Weed Killer Very Early BEFORE weeds bloom. I also resorted to putting more Natural Fertilizers in soil PRIOR to planting & try Not to use products like Miracle Grow. Instead I use Fish Emulsion & till in manure. Just trying to do my part so hopefully the Gov't does theirs.

How about doing the weeding by hand/hoe so lowering the chemicals in the environment?

We have to see things in the "big Picture", ie. how everything is connected and Impacts each other instead of Thinking along the lines of monetarial profits only. If the bees die out - and they will if nothing changes - we're practically lost out to GMOs entirely that Need no pollination. Could the dying out of bees (and many other pollinating insects) be a big plot to push GMOs? And at what cost to humanity? Come on People, organize yourselves to put more pressure on Congress to stop These deadly pesticides (and fungisides, and fertilizers)!
