I support veterans--but I don't understand this pledge. Where are they (and their families) being discriminated against? I don't see any examples, and I'm not familiar with any.

I could give you several but here is one you can look up. Hanoi Jane aka Jane Fonda playing Nancy Reagan in the movie the butler. Educate yourself as to what this trader did. No justice for American soldiers that were subject to her actions and nothing for those that died because of her

Support the veterans. Without them we wouldn't have our freedoms. Stop cutting aid to them, how about stop some of the vacations that are costing multimillions of taxpayers dollars. I bet if America were allowed to vote, they'd vote NO MORE white house vacations, and support our vets instead!

My dad spend 36 years plus serving in the military. He was there on D Day, he walked across Europe fighting the Nazi's. He served during the Korean War and Vietnam - even though it wasn't a popular thing to do. I'm very proud of my dad's contribution. He is 91 years old now and many people owe their freedom and rights today for men like him that gave there all serving this country. We need to take care of our Vets. They are being left to fall through the cracks and it's time to step up...

They are being left to fall through the cracks and it's time to step up and make this Government support and protect those men and women who were sent into harms way and have given life and limbs! They are our hero's and we need to make sure they receive the benefits that they were promised. They didn't start these wars - but they answered the call. Now it's our turn to tae care of them and their families!

As the parent of vet I say why are u taking the benefits away from the people who defend our freedom and make many sacrifices. So that u can enjoy life without dictarship. Maybe your paycheck and pension should be cut mandating taking time off without pay puts unnecessary hardships on these families and if both husband and wife fight for our country it wipes out 2 weeks pay every month. . Let's give them what they deserve our full respect & support

I have had some real great experiences with the VA system, i was given great care and treatment, then there are the bad times i have experienced, especially with compensation & pension examinations. One instance, i arrived early and the doctor was not prepared at all, she was a young psychiatrist, she asked me, so what brings you here today? what, what brings me here? you are the doctor at comp and pension, you don't even know why i am here? She states, well i don't have a...

She states, well i don't have a computer, it is down, so what can i do? ten minutes later i asked to be excused to use the restroom, she says...okay,,,we are all done here now........what??? a few months later my service connected disability is cut 40 percent!! thanks a lot doctor, for taking away what took me 6 years to get, in only a matter of minutes.................i could go on and on, but i am sure this kind of thing happens every day in the va system, it is really a shame to have such people representing the va system.
