This is terrible. Isn't the whole point to save life. If this puppy needed this family and was wonderful in their care, he should have been given back to them to live a healthy loving life. It sickens me that Groups who say they are here to help save animals, take their lives instead. I have been blessed with one of my dogs for 13 years and he has separation anxiety, but is living a wonderful life and the joy of my life.
They Don't really want me to say what I really feel.....R.I.P.THOMAS run free baby!!!!!!
Couldn't finish reading the story- I was too sickened and sad for this sweet innocent creature.
Awfull!!! They must be hartbroken!! I sincerly hope it was an honest mistake; i can imagine that the persons involved are just as shocked!
This is absolutely ridiculous to put a dog down for separation anxiety! This can be controlled with medication and time, and help from some loving people!!! Really!!! What kind of people are you all?????

This story touched my heart.blessings!
The RSPCA will never receive a single penny from me or my family. For them to kill a puppy who had a chance at a good life with the foster family is disgusting. There was not need for this innocent pup to lose his life other than the fact that this so called shelter didn't want him to have a chance to be happy. This place must be run by monsters, certainly not compassionate people. They should be investigated and closed immediately. No excuse for this horrible tragedy.
In 1992 the RSPCA Yagoona put down my dog "by mistake"! She was 2yrs old and healthy. I called on Friday afternoon and they said to come in on Monday morning to pick her up; over the weekend they would de worm her, give her shots ect. When I went in on Monday morning they had put her down about 15 mins before I arrived. They said "Sorry, we put her name on the wrong list". Murderers!! Something has to be done about this shelter, they are murderers, plain and simple!!
Iseult: I'm American, from the US. I live in Brooklyn, NY. New York City's Animal Care & Control are just like the RSPCA. They have a propensity for putting down healthy adoptable animals. The ASPCA, here in New York City, isn't like that. Euthanasia in the ASPCA is as a last resort. They make every effort to save the animal and place it for adoption, but euthanasia is almost always a last resort.
This is absolutely disgusting, you are supposed to care about animals, not destroy them for no reason. Not human and not humane!!!
Somebody in this town just needs to go burn down the Building so that these idiots will no longer have a place to kill animals ever again.
Make sure there's no animals in it first though x
