I have a few disabled people in my life and what they get from SSDI won't pay for a month's worth of living plus medical bills. Medicare doesn't pay all of their medical. These people CAN'T work. Not that they don't want to, they physically can't! I know that the governments money is "stretched" as it is, but they REALLY need to get rid of all the "extras" so these people can have a better quality of life. It's only right.....

I'm a road racing cyclist, I have two teenage daughters, one of whom rides with me and is in my club with me. I am doing this as I want to ride in charity events to raise money for charities. I have heard and seen of so many injuries to cyclists but I still continue to cycle as I won't let the buggers who drive irresponsively to effect me that much to make me give up on something I love doing. disability ALREADY equals poverty but we're now the main people bearing the country's financial problems and PAYING for them - even more than other sections of society. We are being scapegoated and people even believe the country is in dire straits because of 'scroungers' the govt's own figures say otherwise. Too many are committing suicide as result. Support and save lives.
