Leave the Refuge as it is. Actually, the refuge should be treated as a precious place where wild creatures are respected and allowed to live as Mother Nature made them!

Leave the animals alone you blood thirsty degenerates

Precisely. That's exactly what they are.

Humans Just CANNOT stop KILLING - Humans it seems to me,are ALIEN to this planet.Humans seek out and DESTROY all that occurs NATURALLY to enable them to exist either through GREED or POWER. It is time humans were dealt with for being cruel, greedy, inhumane, barbaric and disobeying the NATURAL LAW. Time for people who love and respect nature to mete out punishment to those who continue to rape, murder and destroy this planet.

Don't let what is happening in 48 states happen here as well. Senseless killing of precious wildlife.

If there were no more animals to kill, they'd raise them to shoot them again. They reintroduced the wolf so that they could shoot more of them and make money for the states (through permits). The law allows them to shoot five and trap five. That's 10 per person. After these people exhaust their limit, they start shooting the wolves in places where they don't die right away - only suffer, because they cannot get past their urge to shoot something. Just killers. This country has a gun fetish....

Just killers. This country has a gun fetish. It's a gun culture. They would shoot people if they could. Many form militias hoping for a war with the Feds. Killer mentalities. Serial killers, except their victims are defenseless animals.

I pledge to bloody well go over there and hunt and trap the disgusting flipping bastard rubbishes that want to do this to these innocent and beautiful wolves. What the hell is wrong with them - these wolves have as much right to this earth as we humans do and it is not our right to kill them.

Tourism is down in Alaska because they are killing animals that people come from all over the world to view. It's like an old saying, "Biting your nose to spite your face.." I lived in Anchorage until 2010 and witnessed the slaughter of wolves first hand. We went from 1200 wolves (statewide ) in 2002 to 300 wolves in 2010. When I left in 2010, the Board of Game allowed the gassing of wolf pups and their mothers in their dens. Unfortunately this cruelty is spreading to the Lower 48 States.

I have no words strong enough to describe this travesty! Doesn't it seem strange, that an animal that evolved here, hundreds of years ago and lives in the company of all the other animals who also evolved here in a co-existant life, doesn't have the right to continue in this co-existant life? Did Mother Nature make a mistake? OH YES! As soon as MAN and GREED and CRUELTY comes into the picture, the balance of Nature is thrown out the window!

This goes beyond mere tourism, Toni, this is simply a matter of justice and decency toward our free friends in the wild!

If this is the only way to stop this murdering nonsense, we must start hunting down the poachers and the trappers. Let fear change camp. The bastards won't understand anything else!!!

I hate to say it, but I'm just about angry enough to want to hunt the hunters! After all, who was here first? And who is out there in the woods taking away the creatures who live there, and who I wish to continue living there?

The regulators are too busy collecting the money from hunting permits to care. We need to find ways for money to go to those (governmental) agencies that are supposed to protect the wolf so that the only money they get is not from hunters. (Perhaps camping taxes, etc.) Otherwise, these elected officials will just follow the money. Which means death to the wolves.
