Sadly the county wants to take away the goat because the owner does not clean up after the goat

It is not King County Animal Control- Federal Way has their own Animal Control. Ava, I am nearby and can help give your goats haven until you get this figured out. And to all of the folks who are claiming goats are outside animals- you know nothing about goats. They are easier to housebreak than dogs, as well as less allergenic, cleaner, and quieter. They are incredibly affectionate and bond quickly- and yes, they do best in pairs. Pygmies are small- do your research before you criticize...

My Nigerian Dwarf (larger than a Pygmy) is an inside goat.

There are some counties in eastern wa and north idaho that allow minature luvestock in residential neighborhoods as long as neighbors do not complain - maybe use that with county officials - look up coeur d'alene idaho - as I know they allow it .... used to luve there and sell miniature dairy goats to people - good luck

I hope you get to keep you goats, Ava....they are certainly no bigger than most dogs, and smaller than some dogs, too! Are they claiming it's because of size or because they are considered "farm animals?" I would look into the details of what they are saying is law there. Is a small clutch of chickens forbidden, also? Good luck! I will keep you and your sweet goat friends in my prayers!

Both. Goats are considered "large domestic animals so I would need 2 acres
