OBVIOUSLY, Mr. President, you never had to fight for your country. I am an agent orange exposed veteran with diabetes after spending 11/2 years in Vietnam and can't believe the comments you have made! Maybe you should think before you speak!

How can he think when he usually has someone else write his que cards for him......lol!! If he's not repeating his que cards, every word that comes out of his mouth is a lie!!!! Right???

Our friends who are Viet Nam Vets should all check this out. I can't understand how any Viet Nam Vet could still support this presidency.

I served from 67 to 71 with some of the best men I have ever known. I remember what is was like to lose friends that I grew up with because I served, and what it was like when we were warned to be careful leaving base. Today, I have many friends who served in the wars from WWII up till now, who I call brothers and sisters. And I wear my cap stating that I am a Vietnam Vet with pride. May God bless all of you who have served our country, one country under God.

One country under god? Now that's just irresponsible. Here's what I think about that! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3QI497iAKhY

If anyone knows of help in the Agent Orange area, any response would be helpful. How do you get people to acknowledge abuse until the abuse has killed you? I don't want to get a 'sorry' with a burial check. Why can this Government do anything but half way acknowledge there was abuse to the Veterans by the military higher ups. What happened to the Agent Orange settlement; paid out to attorney's and those who were already dead from the exposure.... Grateful for what little they did do, it did...

What happened to the Agent Orange settlement; paid out to attorney's and those who were already dead from the exposure.... Grateful for what little they did do, it did help a few; but what about those 'living' with the remnants of this exposure.... just suffer through it? I wish there were a Civil Court for individual soldiers then the 'with out a doubt' would be out of the conversation.... Oh yes, about those V.A. doctors? Why do they have the right to tell a veteran and their family one commentary and then turn around and write down an opposite one in their file? I will take a lie detector on that one.... truly, they/he lied. How do you expose these things?

I can't pretend to know what your family has been through. I can only try and empathize like I empathize with the Vietnamese. An apology won't cut it. But it will open the gates to enquiries and debate and that will lead to information, awareness and accountability.

Napalm, gang rapes and destruction of Buddhist equivalent of churches that date back hundreds if not thousands of years. Burning of villages, chemical warfare that peeled the skin off Vietnamese, including children. Why is it that white lives are still considered more important than black or brown or yellow lives? It is still happening! One royal baby versus hundreds killed in drone strikes. And even at a personal level, "white power" is still an undercurrent. Why? I thought we have evolved beyond all this!

What about the massacres the North Vietnamese did on the South

DUC DUC Refugee Village - America fought the Vietnam War to fight the spread of communism. For 6 months, I lived and served (24/7) in a Vietnamese peasant, farming village, under the Marine's Combined Action Program (CAP). Seven months after Americans left the village, the Vietnamese communists burned the village to ashes. Hundreds of innocent men, women and children were killed, wounded or went missing. http://www.CapVeterans.com
