Amen for that Terry!!! I agree 100% about obama not being a citzen of USA & should not be "OUR" President!!! He needs to go back to his country where he came from. After hearing him say how "HE HATES AMERICANS" in the video he made with him & his muslims friends, I am so afraid of what he's going to do while in "OUR WHITE HOUSE"........GO BACK TO KENYA obama!!!!!!

If the American people assume a right to interfere and police the rest of the world to maintain peace, then they should feel the same responsibility when it comes to global prosperity and entitlement. If a global cop remains patriotic, then it is called colonialism. No one Napalmed the northern or southern states of USA during the American civil war. Soldiers of all nations, not exclusive to USA, but all, are brainwashed with lies, and are sent out to murder thousands of young men, women and children, commit all forms of atrocities and war crimes, and then return feeling cheated, surprised that normal peaceful innocent citizens do not agree with what they have done. You think the people sent you there? Or was it the government and the military industrial complex that the politicians represent who sent you there? War is profitable. Period. You are simply the enablers of the most profitable industry in the world. Period. It's all about the money.

The war against communism was just the elite protecting their interests at the cost of poor people's lives.

There's a reason why kings/presidents don't fight the war. There's a reason why they always send the poor.

You really need to read your history...you are woefully ignorant on it....Vietnam came to be because Hồ Chí Minh asked the US for help on getting the French out of his country...We refused as the French were our allies from WW2. He then went to China....so we then got involved...because Vietnam was a democratic society under French Rule...no other reason...and with each war...more destructive devices were used...if they would have had napalm during the Civil War...who knows...its a moot question...they didn't.

the only reason Sherman did not napalm the South was it had not been invented. He did do a good job of destroying homes and businesses on his rampage through the South.

First Korea, not a war,but a police action. Now Vietnam, a misunderstanding. WOW, Mr. President thank you for informing me about the misunderstanding that caused the loss of American lives. I always thought that my Brothers died to stop Communism, and allow Freedom for all. MR. PRESIDENT TAKE A SEAT IN THE BACK OF THE BUS WITH HANOI JANE....

The American 'under current' Government owes MY HUSBAND an apology for sending him into a false war for no reason but to make a point and to make more money for the rich. What would you think if you received a letter from your Government stating 'We don't deny you were exposed to Agent Orange, you unloaded the barrels of the toxin onto the shore for disbursement, but at this time, it is not 'life threatening' so we cannot grant your claim, This is even though you have tumors throughout your body that we've hidden the codes for as to what they are, etc..

Thanks for your reply! I agree apologies won't get it done but conversation has to start somewhere. I totally agree that the Vietnamese 'people' deserve an apology as well; they were pawns in it all as well. I do know how they feel though not being able to get anyone to listen! It's all sad.... I'm 14 years younger than my hubby and wasn't much in tune with Vietnam; but what I've learned through the years has just blown my 'American Dream' little girl image all to hell for real. Again,...

I served from 67 to 71 with some of the best men I have ever known. I remember what is was like to lose friends that I grew up with because I served, and what it was like when we were warned to be careful leaving base. Today, I have many friends who served in the wars from WWII up till now, who I call brothers and sisters. And I wear my cap stating that I am a Vietnam Vet with pride. May God bless all of you who have served our country, one country under God.
