I have to say...i lOVE being a meat-eater...beef, chicken, pork, venison...all of it. But when i see the way that these animals are treated...i don't feel the urge to avoid meats in my diet, it makes me wish that every animal which is killed for my dinner plate would be killed in the most humane manner...and i certainly don't want them to suffer at all...the people who are responsible for torturing them before slaughtering them are the animals...
Eating meat is unsustainable. There are many delicious vegetarian substitutes. If the world stopped eating meat , no one would go hungry. Consider this next time you get the urge to eat a steak. Animals have feelings and souls they don't belong on our dinner tables.
That is an absolute ridiculous law. I would also like to say that you don't have to be vegan or even vegetarian to stand up for animal rights. Animals should be treated right, whether you eat them or not.
You can stand up for anything you want, but if you still eat animals the "anti-animal" propagandists will use the fact that you still eat animals to destroy all your "animal rights" arguments. ONCE AGAIN, if you REALLY want to help animals in this world GO VEGAN.
Makes me sick to look at these poor creatures. If this farm factories were doing what they are suppose to be doing they would not care who filmed them. This is, after all, food that they are preparing for people to eat and we should be able to know about our food. However, I am becoming more and more convinced, especially with this ag gag order, to slowly move away from animal protein and learn how to eat without it.
Cruelty to animals need to be stopped.....For humans we are asked to call crime stoppers here in Australia,,,,,,It includes animals, and it should beimplemented everywhere.....It is a crime....and needs to be investigated,,,,
I have stopped eating most meat and will continue to do so and more!!! The way the animals are treated is so sad and sickening that i will continue this way. I am determined to be a vegetarian!!!!! God bless these animals and the people who do care.
AMY LOVE WHAT YOU SAY BUT PLEASE LOOK AT THE DAIRY TRADE TO ITS MORE CRUEL THAN THE MEAT TRADE , VEGAN IS THE ONLY WAY FORWARD LOVE ALL LIFE GO VEGAN . REMEMBER YOU WERE BORN VEGAN .
Rob - you are so right about the dairy industry. What they do to the new-borns and their mothers is horrendous. My daughter is a Vegan because of this and I am trying . . . I no longer have cows' milk but found it hard to give up cheese. Recently I discovered a great Vegan cheese made in Switzerland called "No Muh" that is really good. Now I just have to find a decent no-dairy yoghurt.
Even if you believe the Creator made animals for humans to have dominion over, which I don't, I'm certain He/She didn't mean for humans to torture them.
Those hunters shooting, trapping and gassing the wolf pups in their dens just love to cite that scripture about "dominion over the beasts" from the biblical narrative. This way they can find justification in their feeble brains to kill and kill. It's that kind of primitivism that defines the hunter mentality. I reject all of that. The animals have just as much place here as we do. Just because we're more evolved does not mean these precious beings should be at the mercy of the monsters posing as humans amongst us.
Animals should have respect they are loyal to there owners and deserve to have a decent live they need people to speak up for them .i love animals they are the best .
Shirley Sorber, There is no reason that these animals have to be mistreated there should be a law against this and be made to pay a fine or jail time, there is no need for any cruel actions against these poor animals. Time to stop it.
I am so happy to read this. People who hurt and abuse helpless innocent, and/or sick farm animals are CRUEL TO THE BONE. I hope THEY ALL GET EXPOSED AND PUNISHED FOR THEIR CRIMES ON THE ANIMALS. I feel so sorry for the animals - the videos make me cry. I don't understand the injustice in this world.
i know i feel same , its a sick sad world thats gettingworse and thems taking the anger outon animals. b*stards
I totally agree with you. We need to rise up in revolt against oppression towards our animals and like-minded brethren alike.
They will get punished, trust in God, karma, whatever you believe in, all hardness returns to the one who sends it out.
I agree Paula, they should have no problems with people visiting, filming, etc... If they are being humane and following procedures!
