It's unfortunate that product manufacturers are not required to label products ensuring that no child or slave labor was used to manufacture that product. This practice is common in the Orient. As far as I understand it China is one of the greatest offenders. As far as I understand it China is one of the greatest offenders. If you're wearing clothing, using products of any kind having to do with textiles made in China or anywhere in the Orient, there is a strong chance it was made by the hands of a child or adult working as a slave. Some are enslaved due to family debt. Some are outright sold into slavery by their own family for whatever reason I/we can't even imagine. If there's any consolation at all it would be in the fact that they're not sold into the sex slave market. No child should ever have to undergo any such lifestyle of any slavery. It's doubtful that any change will come until China makes sweeping changes on a national level. The US along with the US should NOT give China "Most favored nation trading status until these changes happen.

Children's has the right to have fun, going to school, learn to work but not to obligate them,.it is our responsibility to protect them and direct them to bring them in a good future....poverty or hunger is not the reason to bring our child to labor. It is a crime and against the law to employed a child and forced them to work as slaves...

We need to demand clear labelling on our food re which ones have unsustainable palm oil in them which is presently disguised as vegetable oil in lots of food. Read the labels, ring the manufacturers.
