Big up all Reggae entertainers from Jamaica. It is essential to mantain the clarity of our roots and culture. Remeber we originate, never never duplicate. Also, BIG UP The Prophet Buju Banton everytime...and Babylon want to ban our music artists internationally from expressing their sentiments and values. How will Babylon system ever recognize or compensate us for bringing more positive vibrations through our music. They wont, so we had better do it ourselves. Sign the petition and get everyone you know to sign...ONE LOVE

For years in this country and others reggae artists have been robbed. Don't know a lot about how it happens but it certainly has something to do with money?? Help

So u feel American, European, African and Asian reggae artists should pay for performing and promoting reggae?? So Jamaicans musicians should pay for performing jazz or classical music then? I'm sorry I just don't get it, that just goes against everything that music is about: universal artistic expression. For the business side of it, that's what royalties are there for. PS. It's spelled REGGAE.

We are the creators of those as well!!! A lot of the people who created those genres were of Jamaican decent or had some affiliations. But its not about them its just about Raggae and please don't stray from the point!!! America, Europe, Asia and countless other places are profiting off our creations and we don't get a dime, and it has to change now not latter. Thanks for your feedback and thoughts.

I have found another author here in Jamaica that I admire, I love you Yvonne Coke!!! thank you for Perspectives from the Jamaican MAP (MOTTO-ANTHEM-PLEDGE)

The blindness we suffer is not genetic; we were not created that way. We are blind because we choose to focus on achieving our narrow selfish ends with indifference to the common good;the out of many one.

Thank you again Yvonne!

We need to earn from our creation which is Raggae the genre!!! Not just from the musical works and our lyrical abilities.

Please everyone no need to be confused about how our structures will be set out. It won't be far off what guidelines the other societies here have in place, so we wouldn't be competing with them; just making sure we protect the genre and our Jamaicans music images.

First, I don't see a petition spelled out here, so there is nothing to sign but the title which makes No sense. Secondly, it's reggae, not raggae.
