All countries should strive for peace. Nuclear bombs can surely bring peace but only after ending humanity and destroying the earth. No countries should have them, including Israel.
He deserves his freedom.
he should be free
In solidarity Vanunu will be free and how great to see that within last 13 minutes global citizens of conscience from Norway, UK, US, Australia and CT have signed and 355 have SHARED! May it multiple like the proverbial 'fish and bread' -and the 'miracle' of community sharing!!!
Yes, he deserves his freedom...he is a hero of Peace!!
YES he does and very good to see YOU ALL are SHARING this petition and how wonderful to see within 30 minutes time people from California, Sweden, Portugal, VA, FL and Canada signed.
He did this to save humanity..He should be congratulated and those who condamn him put in prison...
i beg u let this man free,,for may god forgive the sins you had done...as we forgive you,,,,,
If we see injustice and do nothing about it we are accomplices of the wrong doing.
He has made a great sacrifice in the name of world peace. What about the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts?
YES Rudi, Vanunu has been nominated over 20 times but in 2009 Vanunu wrote: "I am asking the committee to remove my name from the nominations. I cannot be part of a list of laureates that includes Simon Peres. Peres established and developed the atomic weapon program in Dimona in Israel. Peres was the man who ordered [my] kidnapping and he continues to oppose my freedom and release. WHAT I WANT IS FREEDOM AND ONLY FREEDOM I NEED NOW." http://wearewideawake.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=2298&Itemid=256
Isn't a shame on humanity that those who speak the truth are jailed yet liars are free, what's waiting for humanity..............? Free vanunu.
What is beyond a shame is to know about INJUSTICE and do nothing about it!
Mordicai was one of the first Whistleblowers to whom we owe our (hopefully) increasingly balanced view of the world. The world needs our balanced view in these days of superabundently-equipped armed struggles. All too easy to find the weapons; all to hard to find a just peace. Mordicai was one of the first to recognize this.
Here is Vanunu in 2005 talking about being the first to act, WHY he acted, the need for balance and inviting Bush to come to Israel where he actually could find WMD in the Middle East: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eKTX3vrHQOE
