Sad, George Zimmerman had to leave his SUV to find the street he was on, yet this was where he lived for 4 years and was neighbourhood watch. He definitely knew the street yet he left his SUV. He wanted this confrontation, because after being told not to pursue Trayvon Martin, he took the law on his own hands. He didn't have to leave his vehicle to know the street he was on. And the defence brought in a block of cement, as if Trayvon Martin brought that to this confrontation, he was fighting...

He wanted this confrontation, because after being told not to pursue Trayvon Martin, he took the law on his own hands. He didn't have to leave his vehicle to know the street he was on. And the defence brought in a block of cement, as if Trayvon Martin brought that to this confrontation, he was fighting for his life with a confrontational person that had a 9mm pistol. Just read this and you decide, the defence kept saying that the prosecution's case was all speculation because they had no witnesses that disputed their evidence, it's pretty hard for them to have a witness when their only witness is 6 feet under. I have a co-worker that is white married to an oriental and he looked at this objectively and until I said , "what if your 17 year old oriental son was followed by a 28 year old with a gun

Scott, it wasn't the ACLU that found Zimmerman not guilty - it was the jury. Just like the jury who found OJ not guilty. And it wasn't the ACLU which passed Florida laws making it okay to shoot someone as long as you whined about thinking you were in danger. Let's put the blame where it really belongs...on the people who voted in the legislators and allow them to get away with this stuff, and the jurors who let the defense convince them that Zimmerman was a poor widdle wimp scared to death of an unarmed boy because he was Black.

This is a travesty and denial of justice--Trayvon was unarmed and yelled for help. Vigilantes do not obey the law and Zimmerman is nothing but a kiler of an underage teenager.

He didn't yell for help - his family and friends jumped on that band wagon in order to prove GZ as the aggressor. GZ took a lie detector test and was proven truthful about that question and that it was "he" who called out for help.

I believe GZ screamed for help for biting more than he can chew when he picked on Trayvon. Then pulled out his gun cause he was getting his ass beat!

Nice from a man in the Military. Do you always talk like that to women? I didn't say I had lost faith in the country or the troops that protect our country.

He was found innocent by six women who started the deliberation from the middle of the situation and not the beginning where Zimmerman started stalking an innocent child. Justice for Trayvon is not weak!!!!!

It is hare to believe that people in this country can lose the focus of events that are happening and then spin the outcomes to suit their own personal opinions. This country was founded as a Constitutional Republic. That means that we have a rule book, the Constitution, and we are to follow it. Our forefathers even took into consideration that there should be a process for adjusting or "Amending" this book of rules and placed that process into the rule book. This rule book considers that...

This rule book considers that each individual citizen is to be responsible to society and to themselves to follow the "rules". We have one thing in our country that many countries do not have and that is personal liberties ... the right of free speech, the right of free religious choice, the right to bear arms, the right to own and the right to defend or protect ourselves and our property. Zimmerman was found not guilty of breaking our law ... his right to bear arms shall not be infringed, PERIOD!

you only needed guns cos Britain was invading. when was the last time the UK invaded? will they invade any time soon? well then, why do you have a right to bear arms? so your children can shoot each other in schools and in the home? so that white Americans can legally shoot black Americans? and Americans wonder why every other country in the world hates them....

The forefathers had hoped that common sense would come into play. The state should have taken awayhis right the moment there was a domestic violence incident. Had they done that Trayvon may be alive today.
