Why do people want to live in a country they cannot pledge allegiance to. I think they should just move to another country.

this is one nation under God and it should be taught to our children, We need to proud of our country and forget the people that are offended let them turn the other cheek. God bless this country.

keep the god fairy tale out of life. I do not worship mass murdering child killers like the christian god.

This should be left up to the schools. All you're doing is allowing government to control you a little more.

I am proud to be an American but would be more proud to have the Pledge of Allegience bought back into our schools. Children need certain things and with all the gun shootings, etc. we need this to help keep children on the right track. Definately do NOT need another Sandy Hook situation. I remember back when I was in school, not once did I EVER hear of a school shooting and never did until the Pledge was removed. Not saying it has everything to do with it but the loss of PRIDE for our...

Not saying it has everything to do with it but the loss of PRIDE for our country without reciting it, may have a lot to do with it. Sadly, it has been one year since so many childrens lives have been lost and still they cling to our minds. May they rest in peaceful sleep. Love to see the change in our schools again!

Children need guidance and taught principals and truth at an early age. Our forefathers gave us these and we need to promote them.

I don't believe in indoctrination and brain washing. Kids should be taught how to think, not what to think. If they don't say the pledge, should they be arrested? What else should they be forced to do, turn in their parents who won't say the pledge? What is this, Russia? What's next, goose stepping in the streets? Right wing crackpots are not happy unless they're trying to force people to do something or attacking or destroying something. Here's an idea: let's people decide what to do of...

That's the REAL meaning of freedom and democracy not some extremists forcing their views on others.
