So many dogs can have jobs like companionship for the elderly, the abused children, the homeless, the disabled. Instead of euthanizing the animals in the shelters, society should give the animals "jobs" it does indeed benefit society in a positive manner.

be careful what you wish for though. manatee county has everyone coninced they r no-kill and they r killing more animals than ever, alienating the rescues, gotten rid of the Foster program, cut adoption hours...yet chris weiskopf was nathan's poster child!! when the public thinks you are no-kill the inatke and surrenders soar! just saying....
