This is insanely non-sense. I think this supervisor has no brain or what??? Imagine if YOUR WIFE asked you the same and if she lost YOUR CHILD by your fucking attitude, could you stand the loss of your unborn baby? When your employee askes certain things which are obviously youmust allow her requests, think about the exact same situation as it happens to you. This supervisor is a killer of her baby even if he didnt actually use a knife or gun. She should hire a good attorney and make this guy live in a jail.

I hate that there is such doubt for this lady. People in her work place should have helped her out. Her boss, co-workers even customers should have stepped up. Maybe she wasn't in a situation where she felt she could just quit. We don't know. When did we stop caring? We just hate? Does anyone open a door or offer a seat anymore? It's pretty sad. I don't know her but I do have compassion.

No more shopping at Albertson's. She needed to file a claim for FMLA, they must maintain her health coverage while it is in effect. A supervisor cannot tell her she can't call in sick - she could sue him individually in civil court apart from a lawsuit to Albertson itself.

If she was in a position to take medical leave financially I'm sure she would have. OAN if management cared about their employees they would have made concessions. I'm sure something was available...either way sad story.

Punjab in india is definitely very considerate towards would be motheres as they get 6 months paid leave,half of it before and the rest after delivery.Medical leave,otherwise as per due is available to the lady up to any extent.

I have intermittent leave - I work 12 hour shifts - I can leave anytime and cannot be told I have to stay if my problem flares up.
