I WHOLEHEARTEDLY AGREE! I'M GUESSING "WHEN NEEDED" RARELY IF EVER REQUIRES THE DRINKING OF BEER, OUR OWN WATER HAVING BEEN NEARLY STOLEN FROM BENEATH OUR FEET, PROCESSED IN PLANTS THAT R DAMAGING OUR ENVIRONMENT & SOLD BACK 2 US WHERE MANY CANS & BOTTLES CAN B FOUND STREWN ABOUT PUBLIC AREAS.

if I shit in the toilet and leave It there I would save water
I have been cleaning rivers in eastern Pa for 20 plus years and every year there is more. We all live downriver of somebody else! Everything needs clean air, clean water, clean soil, & clean sunlite to live! Northampton County Jr. Conservation School, Pa. Love you guys, keep it up!
Every little bit helps
I have been using a kind of compost toilet- waterless for the past year- my husband and I take 2 showers a week and we use 45 gallons of water a week for drinking and doing dishes. We decided to live in an RV and travel and try to conserve water and lower our carbon footprint. We plan to find land and start a smallholding using permaculture design.
I capture rain water and use it to water plants. I turn off the water while I shower. I leave items that need to be soaked in the sink so they fill up through hand washing, etc. I also use water or ice that needs to be dumped on plants. I also have desert landscaping.
