I only wish that this monster gets the maximum sentence and fine. The maximum sentence is not long enough. Animals are entrusted into a human beings care and will give love unconditionally. This murder was premeditated. He went to all the trouble of getting the puppy sent to him so that hours later he could murder it in public. Is that some sort of power trip for a coward and sub human being. I hope karma catches up for you very soon. I dispose you and all the other psychopaths out there like you.

He paid $1600 for her. Money runs this world. He probably never had a dog of his own before. He lived with his lover who has since split with him. The ex had another older beagle who sustained questionable injuries and hemorrhaging prior to Molly's purchase. He (the now ex )probably connected the dots after Molly's death. I am sure this man is cruel in many other ways. So sad.

Having been owned by a purebred Beagle myself, this POS makes me want to vomit. No way on Gods green Earth would you have to "train" an animal like that. Dropping them in a shower would not cause the damage he claims happened. This punks story is full of lies and holes. I'll be sure to look this turd up if I'm ever in Florida

Valerie-If we are not their voice....then who? If you think it's hard for you to hear about ,just think how the puppy felt. We can't sit back & say we don't want to hear any more. We need to stand up & say we wont take this abuse any more!

we need harder punishment for cruelty in the state of Arkansas. People around here do not do enough for these animals, there is only some of us that will help a animal in need. I do not know about anyone else but something needs to done with these so call humans who do not take the care of the animals they get and then let them have one litter after another for someone else to take care of and has a big heart. I will not let these animals go with out food and water, and they have little...

GOD PUT US ON THIS EARTH TO TAKE CARE OF THESE ANIMALS NOT HARM THEM OR KILL THEM! THANK YOU!

Sorry, but at 62, I did sign the petition, again, sorry, if I had seen this happen, I would not have sit by and watched it happen. I would have grabbed that young man and beat him with my cane!

No matter how one may try to view this horrific story of sever animal cruelty, no matter the utopian 'what if' scenarios that one may try to use to excuse or explain this monstrous act of animal torture and abuse, regardless your proclivities about animal rights....this specific case is exactly what our laws are intended to be used for. To protect an innocent pup from some maladjusted human being who didn't like the 'coat' on the pup. We buy animals and that make them ours. That does not...

To protect an innocent pup from some maladjusted human being who didn't like the 'coat' on the pup. We buy animals and that make them ours. That does not mean we get to use them as property and abuse them! Eat meat, don't eat meat. Support Peta and or SPCA or don't...this story has absolutely nothing to do with either. This has to do with a mentally ill/diseased human being who found no problem torturing a small animal to death. Whose next? The older woman who makes to much noise? His own partner for not cooking his meal properly? The cashier or gas attendant for 'giving him a look"?
