Somehow this makes a statement that those who should be honest and forthright have learned to be liers and cheaters to line their pockets with ill-gotten money. If everyone would make complaints to their sponsors and tell them they won't buy their products if they continue to sponsor this rubbish it would soon hurt the stations that support this trash!
When something is aired as a factual news report that has been edited to give a different impression, the network has betrayed the trust of the people it serves. The press is responsible to present information to the public so that informed decisions can be made. The US Constitution protects them. They have now become a propaganda machine and deserve to have their press passes revoked.
the drudge report...real news???? wow how sad
as soon as FOX is exposed...I don't watch any of them except in an emergency although I trust msnbc more than the rest...FOX is the republican conservative station don't attack NBC or CNN or anyone else unless they are on the list...are you for real???????
misleading or flat out stating false info will destroy any ones life just to make money. Nothing will happen until people go to jail for false reporting and that wont happen. Also, I didn't enjoy signing this with the zimmerman name as an example (just wanted to make sure that was said).
All sad news regarding P.C. Political Corruption of the Media. This applies in the U.K. also. Yes even the BBC is know to be anti-English but pro-all other
I've lost trust in all USA media outlets. BBC & RT are the only sources I trust without confirming the story.
5th estate my butt... it's getting so that you can't trust anything anymore, not even after fact-checking it through a "reputable" website. Time may come the media won't even have the guts to report the news anymore... The less time any of us spends w/ our eyes glued to the TV, hoping for some "good news," the better. Because people are more attracted to train wrecks than we are to happy pieces. And the media knows this. It's all about ratings... it's all about your vote...
On point #5 [MSNBC hyped a minor Romney gaffe by editing a video to remove substance of argument, suggesting he was out of touch. (June 2012)]: in MSNBC's defense, Romney made Romney look out of touch. If they found they had to selectively edit a particular clip to convey that story, they probably just picked the wrong clip.
Its all about views and ratings. Selling papers and making money. What is real news these days anyways?!??
