The officer kept approaching the dog. My God. Let the man go put the dog back in the car for goodness sake. Officer was just waiting for his moment to fire. Watch his body language.

Mark you need help dude. We don't base shit off of what ifs. The police could have used other tactics. The owner did co-operate with the police. And anyone can video tape anything. It's called freedom. So, Mr smart ass if you know your rights, that man shouldn't have been handcuffed in the first dam place. Plain and simple the officer was wrong and should be penalized for it. I can honestly say I don't even respect your opinion, its people like you who shouldn't even be allowed to speak making yourself look like a jack ass. #knowyourrights

Revolutions start over things like this. Without trust the police will become very helpless and weak. That day is coming, if things like this continue. This police officer clearly was not afraid, but instead just wanted to set up an excuse to punish that man for videotaping him. The best way to punish him, kill his best friend. What a wimp of a man. Extremely lucky, I wasn't there.

i think its bull shit the man had a right to tape them if the govt can tape us we can tape so called law officials when they are doing things to make sure they don't do anything underhanded and they was just mad cause the man was taping them

The owner of the dog was not taping them, it was just a passerby that started taping the situation when he saw something was happening.

There's no reply button under Brenda's reply, so I have to click reply to Wayne, sorry. Anyway, yes the owner of the dog *was* taping them. Not that it matters, since he absolutely has a right to do so. But did you even watch the video? I'm not angry, I'm just wondering, because he is so clearly taping them (and someone else is taping him taping them). Again this is about the dog and not about little silly issues but it's clear that he was taping them. Even though they claim the disturbance...

I'd do an eyeroll at them but it's too serious an issue for eyerolls. The Officers better get punished...

yes it is about the dog and them officers because the same way they shot that dog is the same way they shoot people and it's a shame that a dog has to be killed before people start looking at these so called people that are supposed to protect and serve us

He should not only resign, he should be charged with a crime.

If you watch the video closely, the dog was sniffing something on the ground, not even going at him when he started shooting. Sick of this. Cops on animals, humans that are already down and handcuffed. (Owner "offered " himself, so not a threat..all they had to do was let guy secure his dog. ) If ..you feel so dang threatened , and whine about "your dangerous", then go get a job ...floor cleaning.

I signed & i will sign & sign over & over again! This is so wrong! I hope this dog will get the justice. And to the cop i will pray you get your karma!

Tyson, I'm sure karma will bite him in the ass. If you think about it, him being taped doing this and the whole world getting to actually see for themselves what he did and who he is, karma already got him! This cop won't even be able to go to the grocery store without someone noticing him and saying something.

Anyone who signs this is wrong and sends the wrong message to the thugs and the punks that rely on these poor dogs to protect there illegal trades. I am sorry for the dog and am a dog lover and owner myself BUT if this guy wasn't so busy trying to showboat for the crowd this would have never happened. All he had to do is listen to the police officers when they asked him to clear the area when they were serving a warrant in a house that he had nothing to do with him in the first place. As you...

All he had to do is listen to the police officers when they asked him to clear the area when they were serving a warrant in a house that he had nothing to do with him in the first place. As you see in the video his car is parked right there in the intersection where he apparently stopped to purposely get out and interfere with what the police were doing. This guy should have put the dog in the car the first time he was told to leave the area and just left instead he choose to stay and interfere and that's what led up to the demise of this poor animal. The animal did nothing wrong but to try and protect his owner "BUT" neither did the police officer trying to protect all from the dog

show boat you must have been watching something else. I saw an American citizen record activity off community servants. he responded responsibly to the request of the police even the two officers who were initially involved tried to stop the third over reactive cop.

He has the right to video and tape anything he wants to. If the cops were so concerned then they would have secured that entire area. They got mad cause their were being taped. Flat out

that officer was a bully, he went for the dog first. They knew he had that dog and knew the windows weren't all the way up. The public can be a pain but the police are suppose to look at the whole picture, they didn't and it was a sickening end for a well behaved dog. My dog, my kids, my friends would all react the same way, gonna shoot them all. By the way we don't live in a police state YET, soon but not yet, we are allowed to be out on the street. That man and dog threatened NO ONE
