Why is life imprisonment for innocent mammals still legal?!

Saquemos a los animales de sus cárceles, demos la libertad que tienen concedida por derecho.Dejemos actuar a la Naturaleza y aprendamos a vibrar con la Verdad Universal. Paz y Amor.

This is a great campaign. After learning more about the issue I can't believe how small their tanks are and I'm happy to join this campaign!

So sad that such lovely animals are held in such captivity ! Human greed can't get worse than this :-(

Some years ago I was at Sea World in Florida. My friend and I were having a blast. We walked, played and laughed in the sun while our poor husbands had to go to a conferance, the reason we were all there. We were walking past a huge pool. "Pet the Porpoise" on the sign so we walked over. She was chicken but I reached into the pool to pet the animal up against the side of the tank. When I touched the porpoise and looked into her eye I was shocked like she was electric. I was shocked and...

"Pet the Porpoise" on the sign so we walked over. She was chicken but I reached into the pool to pet the animal up against the side of the tank. When I touched the porpoise and looked into her eye I was shocked like she was electric. I was shocked and suddenly I was stricken with sadness and desperation. She was begging for something and in a few moments I realized what it was -- freedom. She wanted the same freedom we all enjoy and take for granted. Those animals are out prisoners and they suffer. They've been seperated from their loved ones and thrown into a world they don't know and they hate. What is done with these animals is criminal. We have enough film and pictures -- we don't need to imprison and torture these intelligent animals. FREE THEM!

Free them you say, but what about the ones that were born and raised in captivity? What about the ones that were taken into captivity because they were injured or sick? Did you account for them? Do you realize that releasing them into the wild is basically sending them to their deaths? Do you realize that releasing them into the wild is basically sending them to their deaths? Releasing them, when they are so used to captivity, is almost torture to them and torture to the people that built special bonds with them. Signing this means that you want hundreds, if not thousands, of animals get basically sentenced to death. It's great that you care, it really is. But you're not seeing the big picture. These animals are used to captivity. They will end up being too interested in human activities and, with all of the whalers that are out there, will increase their chances of getting killed. Is that what you want, releasing these animals only for them to not last very long? Again, it's great that you care, as I love these animals too, but open your eyes to the cruel reality.

The true beauty of life in all it's aspcts, is freedom.

I'm really glad that you care, I do. I love these animals just as much as everyone else. But the problem is that some of these animals may have been born in captivity, and sense they were raised in captivity, they may have no chance surviving in the wild. Some of these animals were probably taken into captivity because something happened to them that gives them a slim chance of surviving in the wild, like an injury or illness.

What I'm trying to say is that you're not accounting for every single detail that could easily be the result of life or death. Think about it for a moment; an animal that was born and raised in captivity and then released into the wild. That animal would not last very long and would be more interested in human activities and would stand the high possibility of getting killed. Is that what you want, lowering their chances of survival just because they don't belong in captivity? I will not...

I don't want the deaths of many animals in captivity weighing on my shoulders, and then end up blaming myself for it in the end.

Would be great if most of them would not be raist by humans. would be great IFF most of them were not rescude by the humans and hand fed back to health. They are not able to hunt them selfs and you won't let them be tought by humans. would you? So allnit would mean is hurting them more ... is that what you want? Think this over ... I won't sign, I don't want their deaths on my mind, Better happy animal in a tank then dead in the ocean.
