Sorry to disagree here but releasing these animals into the wild is certain death for them, this has already been proven on one occasion but we seem to forget this as it does not interest us. I am a Marine Biologist and have worked with these an animals for over 10 years, they are well looked after and recieve more attention than most peoples pets. Lets be fair and ask all dog and cat owners to release their pets into the wild, dog and cats used to enjoy enormous amounts of free space and now are restricted to our homes, left unattended for long periods of time and given irregular exercise periods... all for the enjoyment of a few people. At least in Sea World and other marine mammal parks the animals are seen by millions of people each year who otherwise would not get the opportunity to know these animals, and as often said we cannot protect what we do not know! All parks also have education programs and make significant contibutions to the protection of these animals in the wild.
