the restoration action of this Campaign is focused in priority areas as riparian and steep areas. Those areas are protected by Forest Code Act and also, in Brazil, every secondary forest is protected by Atlantic Forest law. So, if we get to restore those areas to a condition of secondary forest they will be protected by two legal instruments. Best. http://www.plantabillion.org/

I have 30 pines 5 desiduous antwo fruit trees. I am adding another fruit tree
I wish a nature charity would consider replanting some of the thousands of mature trees that are wiped out in each natural disater like tornados, hurricanes and fires here in the US.
I propose to make it possible to donate via Paypal and Moneygram

Are they planting a wide variety of seedlings to match the trees native to the area? Trees are better than no trees, but too many of one variety can make them susceptible to pests or disease. Can you tell us more about what they are planting?
Thank you for your reply - I know a family in Brazil who owns property of thousands of hectares for planting only coffee and need an aircraft to oversee and control it. In case you are interested in helping to reforest some of their property, please let me know - the husband has just passed away in an accident...
i just planted a lot and still doing
I'm curious to know how you plant one tree for one dollar? And how do you keep it alive until it survives by itself - in other words, 3 to 5 years?
Take a look at this article! http://www.howstuffworks.com/plant-billion-trees-campaign.htm
