Have those pen pushing chair sitting so called politicians to get their fat rears out into the wild to witness the devastation on the ecology that they are allowing to happen because of their ignorance and lack of concern for the wild life! Without the wild life and ecology being balanced, we as humans are going to destruct ourselves because of the balance that has to be retained in controlling every aspect from the smallest insect to the largest elk, everything has a roll to play.

Some humans shouldn't exist! We have been given this wonderful planet and all that inhabits it, to enjoy. Why do some people believe that they have the sole right to exist and think that they can exterminate anything they wish too! These people are taking away my right and that of many others, to enjoy these and other wonderful creatures . I am not a religious person, but I know right from wrong! Why can't we put all of the world's idiots in a desolate place and let them exterminate each...

Hi Joe Adair, regarding your comment about ranchers', etc.: there's also a cultural difference between defenders of wildlife and ranchers, something akin to the Tea Party vs. The Progressives and/or Anarchists. Their callousness toward wildlife is partly born of class identification, I'd say. And this is odd, in its way, since the power very much lies with them. The "cultural capital," though, we've got--and the ranchers, etc. probably feel stung by it. That said, you may be right that...

The "cultural capital," though, we've got--and the ranchers, etc. probably feel stung by it. That said, you may be right that there's no mollifying 'em. But what's the strategy? In addition to going around, over, through (whatever your adverb) the ranchers, we are still left with a major problem for the wolves and other wild creatures: loss of habitat. How do we get more land that CAN BE protected from hunting, especially trophy hunting?

We'll see what we can do, James. You're not the only one who wants to know. The guys with the truckload of wolves on our Wolf Page are another one we want to track down.

People desperately need to practice more EMPATHY. Does anyone even have a clue what that word means anymore? I'l say the majority of people are concerned only with what directly impacts them. How ignorant and sad. Why should the animals pay for their selfish stupidity?...

That's the premise we're working from here with this plan, Maureen. We're pretty sure most of the world finds this behavior abhorrent: in fact, we're counting on it. Our hope is to shame this practice out of existence, with a half million angry voices.

until we stand up and demand change it will continue. Humans are the only species whose numbers have risen exponentially for over 2000 years. As a species we need to consider just how many of these people who kill animals for the fun of it will also be sociopaths when they run out of animals left for them to kill and torture. Look at happening to us because of over breeding and over population...

We humans kill 59 BILLION creatures around the world, every year. It's not just unthinkable to continue, it's suicide.
