Yes! I could write a book since I have a child in Middle School! Especially girls!!!! Mine was called a "b" ALL year last year, every single day, by one girl. Sent school & parent message entering in to this school year stating: "My child is there to be educated, period. If your kid calls my child a "b" ONE TIME this year, it's going beyond the Principal of the school! Just ONE time. It's peaceful so they got the message. No tolerance zone over here on bullying! Uggggg

Bullying robs a person of their self-esteem. A lack of self-esteem can lead to poor attendance and poor grades in school, withdrawal, social isolation, depression and even suicidal thoughts. Why would anyone want to subject a person to this type of behavior? How would a "bully" feel if the shoe was on the other foot?

The Bully—has an issue with fitting in. They are insecure. If you follow them home—you will see ‘why’ they do what they do? They are underachievers. Their claim to fame—“is that of being a Bully—“a somebody? They feel like they are less than. Nevertheless—this conduct cannot be continued—they must be disciplined and psychologically counseled—in an effort to change negative behavior to positive. Make Sense?

Bullying in my opinion is a failure of both the parents and the schools in general hopefully through more awareness this type of behavior can stop and through cooperation we can breed better understanding of each other. To be the same would be boring, I think it is great that we are all different and this should be looked as a good thing not something to be picked on.

My younger brother was bullied in high school by his so called "friends" which led him to moving to another town to attend boarding school. This placed a huge amount of stress on both him and my father with very real fears that he would be killed.

Bullying is never okay and should not ever be tolerated! It is wrong and can have a devestating impact on those who are bullied and their families.

My little friend Noah has been picked on also due to his mother dying, being smaller tham most kids at school due to being born at 15 weeks gestation and having two kidney transplants along with having gay Dads. It's not his fault and is very wrong!!

Your right Megan! It is so very wrong and it is not his fault what so ever! People should not be bullied for any reason! It really makes my blood boil! My nephew gets bullied and it breaks my heart as I have been there before myself!

I wouldn't same its more prevalent , more it gets more attention then it did 20 years ago. It used to be no body gave a damn, we were expected and demanded to so it up- life sucks, its a bitch then you die. Now everyone is so hype sensitive. In true cases of bullying it not right, in fairness though in this day and age hands are tired preventing the person being bullied to take a stand. 20+ years ago we were encouraged to stand up and defend ourselves if absolutely necessary. In more cases both sides where given the exact same punishment at the social level then the parents disciplined their children in the private settings. Though a good portion of modern bullying is not real bullying, its hyped up spoil me rotten and KMA to me. Anyone refusing to KMA is a bully- boohoo wwwaaaaaaaaaaaa. Kids today know they can manipulate people and the ultimate way to manipulate those that care is make you life a barganing chip. Give me what I want or I kill myself! Tell me everything I do is right and encourage it no matter how wrong it is otherwise I kill myself. LOL even them "rules " are warped. In true cases of bully I can sympathize. Some of this stuff I can't feel sad though. There is a balance point but that balance point is off balance now. It actually disgusts me. No one gives a damn about folks like myself and others in the same boat. We could threaten Suicide and we have already been told " Good Ridence!"

You obviously don't understand the bullying I faced and the divine intervention it took to recover. And yes it was true bullying.

Obvious huh?! That is a dangerous comment. I'd be careful not to judge others. You were never in my shoes, Not to mention if its that obvious I would insult you by telling you how blind you must be. There is a God in heaven that is witness to what I have endured, also countless classmates that know what I was put through at the hands of fellow classmates. I'll save you A novel, you can always arrange to talk to me if you want clarification of what I'm saying.

All children should feel safe at school. Bullying should not happen to anyone of them. We as parent, grandparents, and teachers, need to bring bullying to and end so all of our children "WILL" feel safe, at school.

School is where children should be uplifted and inspired not a place to be put down. When bullying happens it chips away at their belief in themselves. No person should have kind of power over another individual. Live true to yourself and be the best you can be in whatever you what to become.

Kids should feel safe and comfortable in school. They should not have to feel belittled, sad and scared to go to school!! Kids are cruel in school, I know first hand because my daughter is going through this is school!! We as parents and teachers need to END Bullying!
