Our neighbor's beautiful daughter is evidently being bullied to the extreme that her parents are starting home schooling. Things must be different today than in years past. I thought school was supposed to for education, learning how to get along in life, making memories and so much more. I am just so sorry that these things will be taken away and she will miss so much.

No child should be bullied for any reason; it needs to stop!

Because it would make going to school for all kids something to look forward to and not something they dread doing. Children would miss a lot more days of school and you would see a decrease in the number of drop outs!

School is supposed to be a safe haven we send our children to daily to get an education, yet we are stuck wondering if they will be ok or if someone is going to bully them while they are there. Children should be able to walk through those doors daily and feel safe. Every school should have a Zero Tolerernce Policy for bully's. But us as parents need to realize that most actions come from home, so we all need to be mindful of our actions towards our children.

Kids have enough of a hard time at school without some dickhead making themself into a bigger wanker than they already are & picking on poor others who just happen to be there. Ya want to bully someone go have a look in the mirror.

a teacher asked her students to take out a piece of paper, notice how bright and fresh it was. Then she had them crumple them while telling their papers they were bad and even rub them in the dirt on the floor~her only rule was not to rip them. Next they had to tell their paper how sorry they were as they tried to smooth them out, all the while saying nice things. When they were finished she asked them what they saw. While answers varied most said wrinkled, dirty, ugly & so on. She then told...

Even after you say you are sorry, though there are no rips or tears you can SEE, they are on the inside and they may feel bad on the inside for the rest of their lives. Bullying should NEVER be tolerated.

Children are precious and anyone who harms a child will suffer sooner or later. It is wrong!

I work for AACPS and see "Bullying" on a regular basis. I was bullied as a child and it is something you never forget. I still remember the names of the children who bullied me.
