I have family members that have been affected by sex offenders. Who have needed extencive therapy, and a lot of medication. My greatest fear is that sex offenders will never be properlypunished. I May be more inhumane than most when discussing this topic, but that is only because my family has been seriously affected by those disgusting individuals. I would prefer they be institutionalized for the rest of furor natural lives.

You are not too harsh.. Rape often leaves physical scars as well as emotional ones.. I'm in favor of doing to rapists what they did to their victims.. Anyone who commits violence should receive the same.. Of course we live in a civilized country and treat criminals better than the victims..

And who should be the one to have to rape this rapist? Not me! You? Prison employees? It would take someone who who has it in them mentally and physically to rape another and is okay with that. Sex offenders may deserve to have done to them what they have done to another. But that mentality and type of thinking is why the number of male victims that become the sex offender later in life is such a high number. Once they have stepped over that line, they view themselves as just like the person...

Educating the victims and their families will help rid the world of this type of crime.

I would really rather beat the living shit out of them, let them recover. Only to Walk them into an open field, and put a bullet in furor skull.

I'm sorry that your family has experienced this pain in their lives. Please give this web address everyone in the family: www.malesurvivors.org. Especially veiw the Myths vs. The Facts page. By getting the proper education out about male rape and rape in general, you will help lower the number of victims that end up becoming sex offenders when the are older. A person that commits a heinous act on another person in such a way that bodily harm or emotional trauma is experienced, should receive a punishment equal to their crime. In all respects, our criminal justice system needs to be reevaluated. It is noted that the majority of law makers and voters have lost sight of moralities. More issues and laws are designed at controlling the average citizen, not protecting them. This system has debunked and led to more releases of criminals in our streets,...

This system has debunked and led to more releases of criminals in our streets, and also given them rights. Several times these rights have led to increased crimes committed. In realistic terms most crimes don't have an equal punishment, we often look to dissolving the right of freedom of the convicted and later release them with hopes of no future crime committed by the former convict. With more than a 70 percent of former convicts who commit heinous crimes returning to the penal system, we as citizens need to rethink and demand an action that reduces the percentages.

My ex is a registered sex offender. Because he raped a relative. I cant disclose names or details. But this happened Few years back. And he is out running around and is able to have some type of visitation with my daughter. He is a repeated criminal. He has sexually assulted other women including myself thats never stepped up to the plate bc we all are scared, or just think that he will get away with it so whats the point. I do not think my daughter should be allowed around him expecially...

I do not think my daughter should be allowed around him expecially now thats she in the process of becoming a young lady. I am trying to fight it in court. But idk how this will go :( im praying and hoping that my baby girl will not have to go back. Justice for woman and men boys and girls that go through this.. Needs to be able to rest their heads at night and feel safe. I do not. Every night i lay awake wondering if all the windows are locked. Or if i forgot to lock the doors. There needs to be better laws not just to protect us. But our children!

Too many offenders 'get by with it' because their victims don't come forward.. As harsh as it sounds, every victim who keeps quiet help the rapist to rape again..

The thing is, what proof do we have.. Some lack proof of it ever happening.. So theres nothing we can do. And this happened long before he went to prison over that. But it was just a yr and half. To 2. And the court if i was to come forward now. They would just think im lying bc we are fighting over custody.

No offense, if the crime calls for a time serve let it be, there are structured sentencing for that purpose, not for your discretion.

I'd sign this if I knew it only applied to rape &violence. But, the gray area of perceived sexual harassment makes me hesitate. There has to be a statute of limitations on guys just being stupid ;-)
