It would be wonderful and a miracle if they had domestic violence shelters that accept animals too. But I will still pray about it. I am in a bad situation, but told the man if he laid a hand on my puppies I was calling the police!
once you learn about the mental disorder 'psychopathy' you will understand that there are indeed those people who are born without a conscience..Once you know this your questions will be answered..
If your angry take it out on the wall or yourself then maybe you would realize it does not tickle Don't hurt an animal, They are innocent they just want to be your friend.
People in an abusive situation must arrange for someone to look after their pets until the situation is sorted out. Please remove your pet from the abusive environment if you care for that pet. Because abusers will always kill or harm the pets, even for revenge. I am astounded how irresponsible some people have been to keep the pets around when these abusers are so violent. Its a message that needs to get out there to people in abusive relationships etc. Their pets must be removed.
Who cares about the animals, eh? After all as a society we torture and kill countless millions of them annually, but WAIT is there a way we could use these animals to identify people who torture other HUMANS?!?!? Well, that's another story, isn't it! Quick! Where's that bandwagon, i've got my jumper on.
this is true !! from personal experience !!! Aggressive men at home,do also abuse and hurt their pets !! Melindi x
This has definetly been proven many times. It can start in their childhood and unfortunately, not enough people can see the signs so early and recognize them as the danger that they are. There is a definete connection between animal abusers and people abusers, and not enough anger management skills are being taught early on to prevent it.
Abusing people or animals has always has to do with the madness to have power over others on very morbid way.
I have personal experience... domestic abusers DO take their anger out on their animals... NO ANIMAL is safe with an ABUSER! People need to consider that as well when helping abused people escape from their places of abode!
I also have personal experience with this, Linda. We need domestic violence shelter programs that accept animals too. More people would get out, if they knew their animals would be able to be safe too.
