I am against the Wyoming wolf hunt. This massacre of a species is morally and ethically wrong. It appears that this administration and those entities that are established for protecting the wildlife of this country are intent on doing the exact opposite. "Dear Mr Talbott and Mr. Mead

This cull should not take place and the wolves should not be the scapegoat for what is wrong with our government and the "politics" that dictate your actions. Please stop this massacre today.

It happens to often that animal species are extinct before the young generations of today can appreciate them. Wolves are magnificent animals with social structures quite like ours. Capable of caring, protecting and looking out for their young just like we do. Surely you understand, that these animals are very important to our eco system and deserving of our respect.

I think that the ones who are infringing...is us. This is their land and I think its about time we learn to share it with them.

Please stop the killings, and lets show the young generations of today that we are as capable of caring as the wolves."

Sincerely,
Dan Ducheneaux

Tell you what go ahead and go lie down with the wolves then. Tell me how accomadating they are to your plight. Wolves were driven out of N America for a reason. They are dangerous and cant be allowed to thrive in populated states. If you live in the city and have never seen a wolf leave your opinion out of it. I hate to be the one that tells you this, your parents should have, but not everything in this world is good and sometimes you have to make sacrifices for the good of mankind. I bet when you brush your teeth with running water and wear your Nike shoes you arent so high and mighty about the enviroment.

except they don't come up and shoot animals caught in traps. they allow their hunting dogs to rip them apart. or they stomp on their windpipes, or drown them, or crush their heads until they're dead. they do not ever shoot them, this is far to humane for these barbarians. WHY WHY WHY???? not necessary, and not subscribing to any hunting code of ethics or human code of ethics either. any hunter calling his prey vile like rats has no practice of integrity or ethics in his hunting. shame...

Lindsey McKinley I think that trapping wolves is not the solution. It is us who broke the chain not nature, not predators, not wolves. If thereo is some population that needs to be control that is human population. The Earth Planet is crowded, there is famine, poverty, disease and NOBODY CARES! http://overpopulation.org/

Lindsey Mckinley, If the predators were really outweghing the prey, then they would be dying off since there would not be enough food for them to survive, right?

Worthless? Really? I know that if they are a problem for livestock they must be managed, but moving them by humane methods is much better than senseless slaughter. Some species have already been hunted to extinction and many others are very close. And the reasons for killing them were mostly myths. People were needlessly afraid of being attacked! It has taken many years to build their numbers to where they are now. Wolves are apex predators! Certainly not worthless or vermin. God put us on...

God put us on this earth to take care of the animals, not to needlessly slaughter them. If it's not trying to kill you, (and a healthy wolf is not) and you aren't killing it for food, then you really ought to rethink your motives. Killing for the sake of killing......well isn't that just murder?

If there were no Wolves there would be no humans; the wolves that were tamed in prehistoric times helped humans to survive by hunting with them as well as protecting them. Perhaps you merely suffer little self-worth? Or you suffer from ignorance like too many in this world; what a sad little person you must be to post that, I pity you.

@hunt wolves.... you have no argument or data to support your blood thirsty quest to kill a sacred animal native to this country. 2-4% of the population hunts and traps wolves, 88% of us oppose it. time will come that the majority will put an end to this barbarism. fact is, you just like killing and if weren't wolves, you'd kill something. this NEED to hunt and trap and oh...while we're at it, torture innocent defenseless animals at our mercy....for PLEASURE .....it's A SELFISH, BRUTAL...

YOUR pleasure is not fair nor worth the consequences to the rest of the ecosystem. i hope you step in a leg hold, the kind that snaps you leg in two and causes slow painful blood loss and death....and i hope wolves surround you and taunt you as the life drains out of you into the earth.

STOP TRAPPING THE WOLVES. IT IS VERY PAINFUL FOR THEM. TO BE CAUGHT IN A LEGTRAP AND FREEZE IN WINTER IS NO JOKE. THE TRAPPER SHOULD FEEL
THE PAIN HIMSELF. SNARE AND TRAP OF ANIMALS SHOULD BE OUTLAWED.
