because in flanders field the poppies grow and have 2 uncles plus cousins that didn't make it home in both wars.
the poppy symbol goes way back in time, and has a special meaning for me and for young and the elderly, all past and presant war veterans gave their ultimate all, sadly so many lost their lives.our freedom comes at a price, yes we shall remember them.godbless, amen.
for the memories of all who have fought and died for the freedom we all have today.
for all the good work the sale of these poppies can do.
My late father fought in the second war, and survuved but many others did not. If it wasn't for people like him and countless others we would have this beaufitul country and the freedoms we have here. We should never forget what they did for us and future generations.
They fought for our freedom , our lives and the wonderful country we live --- As the going down of the sun ------- WE SHALL REMEMBER THEM.
remember the veterans gone before us.
it is a symbol of remembering all those who have lived and died for our freedom.
They fought for our freedom, many lives lost, families distraught with pain and anguish wondering if their loved one was still alive....One things for sure, HEROES.
No explanation needed. They fought for our lives and were all heroes.
