A Fairweather Prayer
By Sioban Timmer

Hello up there,
It’s me – you know!
When times are hard I always show.

Well not today,
I’m here to share,
For this is my fair weather prayer.

Although I’m not
Your ever faithful,
Today I want to say I’m grateful.

I have a house,
Better yet a home,
And I have learnt from all the friends I’ve known.

My family is safe,
My health is good,
Clean water to drink and always enough food.

We are fortunate

A Fairweather Prayer
By Sioban Timmer

Hello up there,
It’s me – you know!
When times are hard I always show.

Well not today,
I’m here to share,
For this is my fair weather prayer.

Although I’m not
Your ever faithful,
Today I want to say I’m grateful.

I have a house,
Better yet a home,
And I have learnt from all the friends I’ve known.

My family is safe,
My health is good,
Clean water to drink and always enough food.

We are fortunate
To always have enough,
And we are blessed with each other, when times are tough.

So I’ll take my chance
And dance with fate,
And say out loud my life is great.

Lets hope these days
Will come again,
For fair-weather prayers

Thankyou,
Amen.

I am very greatful that there are people in the world like myself who have a deep sense of empathy, love and compassion for animals by being the voice against all animal animal cruelty. To end the senseless barbaric treatment of animals around the world. May our hard work to the safety of animals prosper and animal cruelty and abuse become a thing of the past real soon!

I have recently read a 17 page document on "pound seizures", I had no knowledge that people were rounding up helpless animals to be used for premed and veterinary students to "practice" on, it was a disturbing story.
Yes, I am grateful that Michigan State has stopped the use of animals, and instead are using simulators and other alternatives.

Yes, I am grateful that Michigan State has stopped the use of animals, and instead are using simulators and other alternatives.
I am also grateful for people like "Adam", and others like him from The Humane Society, for their part in the rescue of animals from puppy mills and flea markets everywhere. I am grateful for 2care and all the organizations that work hard to stop the slaughter of wildlife, the trapping and killing of wolves. I am grateful to "Jim and Jamie", in their story "Living with Wolves". Thanks to all of those who love animals and work to ensure their welfare and freedom.

When bad things happen I am grateful for my family! I'm so glad and blessed to have them in my life. They are literally the best family anybody could ask for. They look to help people in any way that they can and they don't look to hurt anyone. We are there for each other all the time and we have each other's backs always. We're just a good loving caring family period
