In my opinion, the change has to start from within the gun owner population. They must begin to question the likelihood of guns falling in to the "wrong" hands. And this should cause them to agree and even push for tightening gun regulation in the US on civilian population.

THINK THERE ARE WAY TO MANY GUNS OUT THERE. EVEN IF LAW ABIDING CITIZENS HAVE THEM THE GUNS ALWAYS GET INTO THE WRONG HANDS. I PERSONALLY DO NOT LIKE GUNS AND WOULD NEVER HAVE ONE IN MY HOUSE. ALL OF THOSE INNOCENT PEOPLE AND THOSE BEAUTIFUL ANGELS DIED AS A RESULT OF HATRED AND JUST AN EVIL PERSON. I PERSONALLY HAVE BEEN TOUCHED BY GUNS MY FATHER DIED OF A GUN WHEN I WAS 7 YEARS OLD. AND SO DID MY HUSBANDS FATHER WHEN HE WAS IN HIS TEENS. IT WAS THERE OWN HANDS THAT KILLED THEM BUT I STILL...

BAN THEM LIKE THEY DID OVER SEAS AND THEY HAVE BEEN NO MORE MASS SHOOTINGS. SAVE INNOCENT PEOPLE.

The sadness of this horrific tragedy is so unthinkable and just mind numbing. My sincere heartfelt condolences go to the loved ones left behind . Your pain is so huge we feel it like a freight train all the way over here in California. So much has changed in an instant for all of you. Things will never be the same and for that I have wept for all of you. God Bless you each and every one

Each time I close my eyes, I see the innocent faces of the victims of Sandy Hook. Our fore fathers , when they made the gun law, we did not have the kind of weapon we have now in our society. Change is the law of nature. We should demand our leaders to help us get the change and ban autometic assault weapons. We also need to rethink about the vedio games, toys and cartoon shows. They also contribute towards the violance. There should be a ban on them too.

When I heard about this it broke my heart.I had tears in my eyes cause my heart was breaking.you know if people have mental issues they should talk to someone not hurt innocent people.when my son got home from school I hugged him so tight. My prayers are with all of those families they should ban the guns.

With all due respect to the victims, families, and friends of those who parished in CT, and even as a parent to a kindergarten aged child, I do not think the issue is about "gun control". Although no one should have an automatic weapon, the average gun owner is not a criminal. We need mental health resources, armed guards at schools, psychological profiles on troubled kids who show signs. Taking guns away from the good/majority, leaves us defenseless. What those kids went through is...

What those kids went through is unfathomable, but had an armed guard been on campus it's likely many more lives could have been spared. Retired Marines should be protecting our kids. They are the future. "Gun free zones" are just advertising to criminals creating the perfect target for evil. Also violence is sensationalized. Kids these days aren't taught the same high moral standards of the past, and society is paying the price. If we would clean up American entertainment and demand decency, innocence and adolescence might return. Xoxo

My heart still aches for the 26 victims who were murdered. I try to imagine the tragedy that they felt, but I break out crying uncontrollably. I want a ban on military weapons sold in the United States of America. I want a ban on violent video games too. I want to see more funds towards Mental Illness agencies; instead of, cutting funds. More security in the schools, not necessarily armed guards, but with technology. We live in a technology world! I believe in bullet proof windows and...

I believe in bullet proof windows and doors, not adding more weapons in the school like that guy stated today.
