In the past 20 years only one new cancer drug has been approved for pediatric cancer. I am going gold to raise awareness and fight childhood cancer with love.

I go GOLD personally and professional every day. Personally, as the father of Jacob, who died due to a brain tumor in 1999 at the age of 2 1/2. We're still learning to live without him. Professionally, as the Executive Director of Hope & Heroes Children's Cancer Fund, supporting pediatric oncology at Columbia University Medical Center. It is a privilege to help the doctors, nurses and staff continue providing the most compassionate and innovative care, and to help the patients and families...

I go Gold today to fight for the children who can't do it alone. I will be their voice and their strength so they can focus on being kids,

I wear GOLD today in honor of my daughter. She's a two time brain cancer survivor and my hero! I'm also doing it for all the other children who are fighting this awful disease. Remember, "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not." - Dr. Seuss

I went GOLD today in support of children everywhere on this planet who suffer from cancer. I am so glad that the ones who do not yet have a voice to cry out for awareness in this disease get to be represented by so many who love them with all of their hearts!
