So, you want t here my story; I am 45 year old male, back in college studying Administrative Legal Assistant. I am on psychiatric Disability because I have fought a lifetime of syndromes and disorders. I am cracked but not broken, and I thank a lot of compassionate, educated, and patient people who help me a long the way.

Mother was a Bi-Polar alcoholic, who beat, burned, and whipped us until we bled. She would leave town for weeks leaving completely unattended. The 2 reasons we went to school was to eat and not be beaten. My father was not there! When I was taken by my grandmother the aunt that lived with her begun to beat me as well. Everybody wanted to beat the "Gay" out of me. I'm still! I try very hard not to hate the adults in my childhood; those that did it and those that did not do anything about it. "I firmly believe if you are not part of the solution than you are part of the problem."

My story is too long and too complicated to post here, but I have just written and self-published it on Amazon/Kindle: there are enough tidbits in the free sample illustrate its relevance, but the WHOLE story is what should be a eye-opener to anyone who is interested in understanding the value of cultural identity.

my son's dad is indian & i have legal custody. dan has supervised visits with him for four hours every other sunday - he hasn't shown up once yet for it.

on a side note, kevin driskell turned me into child welfare but there was no abuse or neglect. i was just high, so my dad kept my son for a year. then the caseworker dropped it a year ago so he could "put his time into real cases".

also, a pi was forced to say sex crimes between 2005 & 2010, but he found no such abuse. local &...

The t-shirt I'm wearing is my meaningful cultural item. It's a Church of the Brethren shirt that reminds me of my faith community's values.
